Job Summary: Protect capital investment, perform maintenance of all floor areas, and for sustaining high standards of cleanliness and sanitation while maintaining the conditions of the equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience. Or, a combination of experience and education sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job

Licensing Requirements:

Hiring Range: $27,679 - $34,599

Job Specific Task List:



  • Maintain all types of floor surfaces utilizing up to date materials and processes. - (Essential)
  • Provide instruction and guidance in the floor maintenance program. - (Essential)
  • Maintain specialized floor equipment. - (Essential)
  • Assist as a substitute custodian as needed. - (Essential)
  • Recommend the selection of supplies and equipment and maintain proper inventory. - (Essential)
  • Assist with snow and ice remediation as needed - site/campus specific - (Essential)
  • Performs other duties as assigned - (Standard)
  • Submits work orders and/or reports to supervisor equipment repairs and flooring maintenance that they cannot perform. - (Essential)
