Overview
The Manager, Physical Security Systems, is responsible for the design, implementation, and management of the electronic physical security program for the Carle Health system. This position can be housed in Champaign-Urbana or Bloomington-Normal. Qualifications License/Certifications: Driver's License - Secretary of State (SOS); Physical Security Professional (PSP) within 2 years - American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) Education: Experience In Lieu of Education; Bachelor's Degree Other Knowledge/Skills: Security leadership Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive system-wide security systems strategy aligned with the security services objectives. Lead the design and implementation of security systems, including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and alarm systems. Develop and maintain security system design standards for the deployment and operation of security systems. Provide oversight and ownership of security systems preventive maintenance for the access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection systems for all Carle Health locations. Establish monitoring processes to detect and respond to security incidents promptly. Conduct assessments of security systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure the availability and reliability of security systems. Collaborate with internal groups, including operations, IT, and facilities, to ensure seamless integration of security systems with other business processes. Liase with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies, security consultants, and vendors, to enhance security capabilities and stay up to date with industry trends.. Other duties as assigned Educate team members on standard processes for applying security systems and adhering to security policies and procedures. Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $33.59per hour - $57.77per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
