Job Summary

As a Buyer, you'll source and purchase high-quality products at the best possible prices. You'll manage suppliers, inventory, and costs. You'll maintain inventory levels and provide materials for production to meet demands.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Negotiating, sourcing and procuring raw materials, parts, and components consistent with company policies and procedures
  • Planning and scheduling material procurement to maintain inventory at target levels
  • Triggering orders, monitoring delivery dates and quantities, as well as current stock levels
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchases and inventory levels and providing purchasing support for new product developments
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize material procurement processes through analyzing situations or data

Requirements

  • Have experience in purchasing management and procurement or supply chain management.
  • Be knowledgeable in sourcing strategies and supplier management, industry regulations and standards, and market trends.
  • Have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems)
  • Collaboratively and creatively work with team members and independently with excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills
  • Be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs and priorities

Compensation and Benefits

  • The base pay for this position is $60,864.80 to $83,689.10 per year depending on the geographic market.
  • Dependent on the position offered, annual bonuses and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of the compensation package.
