And we're growing! The Role Our Retail group is looking for a Senior Consultant, Supply Chain to join our journey. We're looking for someone who possesses a strong background in Supply Chain, for both direct and indirect purchasing, planning, procurement, logistics and distribution. We're looking for Senior Consultants who can deliver within Cognizant's Five Pillars of Consulting Excellence: 1) Project Execution, 2) Expertise, 3) Business Development, 4) Practice Development, & 5) People Development. As a Senior Consultant, this means partnering with clients and project stakeholders, and colleagues. Responsibilities * Based on experience, support or own and manage one or more project workstream(s), including deliverables, while adhering to budget, timelines, and client engagement guidelines; * Partner with clients and project stakeholders and apply technical and domain expertise to solve core client business challenges or inefficiencies; this may include leading and managing small solutioning teams to accomplish the above * Elevate the Cognizant brand from mere solution vendor to business-focused transformation partner, based on earning the trust and confidence of clients; * Ensure accurate understanding of a client's business challenges and their optimum alignment to engagements delivering Cognizant solutions; * Be the consulting partner in Manufacturing accounts and drive consulting based proposition to win new deals and retain existing business * Provide thought leadership in accounts on latest trend and practices * Lead Consulting RFPs and provide business process competency * Research and participate in various internal panels / forums to provide new ideas Qualifications
* Experience within a consultancy, within a targeted industry domain, or within a digital solution environment core to one or more of Cognizant's businesses * Strong Supply Chain background for both Direct and Indirect Purchasing * Should have own end to end Supply Chain including Planning, Procurement, Logistics and Distribution * Able to logically articulate diverse set of business problem statements and create conceptual solution approach solving business problems * Able to demonstrate value that can come from existing data assets using various business logics and visualizations * Expertise in Process mining across Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes. * How to move the concept from Config center to a Depot management space * Understanding Depot Management and take decision and what to do with that every day to managing day to day responsible * Able to consult clients to improve Business Process, Recommend KPI's for effective Monitoring & Measurement, advise on Change Management required for enablement * Onsite Requirements: This role is onsite at the client office located in Moline, IL * Personal leadership and a desire to create a culture that enables exceptional outcomes * The embodiment of Cognizant's Core Values of: Start with a point of view; Seek data, build knowledge; Always strive, never settle; Work as one; Create conditions for everyone to thrive; Do the right thing, the right way.
