Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager with 8 to 12 years of experience in Ab initio Ab Initio GDE Ab Initio ConductIt Ab Initio CoOperating System Unix Shell Scripting Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL and SQL. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts and will not require travel. Domain experience in Claim Claim Investigation and Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.

Responsibilities

* Lead the design and implementation of data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics needs.

* Oversee the development and maintenance of ETL processes using Ab Initio tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

* Provide technical expertise in SQL and Unix Shell Scripting to optimize data processing and transformation workflows.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

* Ensure the scheduling and execution of data integration jobs are efficient and meet business timelines.

* Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to resolve any issues and ensure smooth operations.

* Develop and enforce data governance and quality standards to maintain high data integrity.

* Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to enhance system performance.

* Mentor and guide junior team members in best practices and technical skills.

* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.

* Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data warehousing solutions.

* Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

* Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all data handling processes.

Qualifications

* Possess strong experience in Data Warehousing Concepts Scheduling Basics ETL SQL Ab Initio GDE Ab Initio ConductIt Ab Initio CoOperating System Ab initio and Unix Shell Scripting.

* Have domain knowledge in Claim Claim Investigation and Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus.

* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Show ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

* Display a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.

* Ensure adherence to data security and privacy regulations in all processes.

The annual salary for this position is between $[125,000 - 135,000] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
