As a participant in Cognizant Skills Accelerator's GenAI Pathway, you will continue developing in-demand tech skills through an innovative, sponsored upskilling program specifically tailored for U.S. professionals who want to advance their skills and prepare for a career in a highly sought-after IT role. This no-cost training can benefit individuals who are interested in applying for Cognizant's Apprenticeship Program. Selected participants should expect to spend 15 or more hours per week developing their new skills by completing exercises, tests, projects, and homework.

The GenAI pathway is delivered online and comprised of the following 5 courses including weekly live learning sessions, webinars, and Cognizant speaker series within an engaging learning community.

• Intro to Python & Version Control
• Intro to GenAI: GANs, VAEs, Transformer-based models
• Prompt Engineering & Fine-tuning with LLMs
• Advanced Generative Models & Training Custom Models
• Generative AI in Natural Language Processing & Intro to RAGs

• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming, including variables, loops, conditionals, arrays and method, functional programming, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Growth mindset: curiosity about learning innovative technologies and methodologies.
• Access to a computer with internet connection.

• Bachelor's degree or
• 4 years of work experience with an associate degree; or
• Military equivalency training
• Permanent US or Canadian work authorization is required
• Ability to speak, read and write in English
• Recent Computer Science and STEM graduates are encouraged to apply

• Meet senior Cognizant leaders, current apprentices, and learning & development staff via Cognizant's exclusive speaker series
• Exposure to Cognizant Apprenticeship Program opportunities (please note that U.S. work authorization sponsorship is not available for these opportunities)
