Job Description:

ResEcon is looking for an Operations Coordinator to join our growing team in Los Angeles, CA! We are seeking a proactive and organized Operations Coordinator to support senior leadership and contribute to efficient staff and project management. In this role, you will manage a range of administrative and project management functions to ensure smooth daily operations and effective resource allocation across multiple projects for the Wage and Hour team. The Operations Coordinator is part of the Resolution Economics' Administrative Team interfacing with all administrative functions (i.e., Finance, HR, IT, etc.) to best support Wage and Hour billable personnel to further support ResEcon strategic goals and initiatives.

A significant part of this role will involve directly assisting the senior partner of the Wage and Hour team with billing entry, expense management, scheduling, and other administrative tasks. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to, support and oversight of their shared calendars, client billing and invoices, expense reports, and ensure seamless coordination of the daily workflow. Additionally, you will track and coordinate staffing on multiple projects across multiple offices, monitoring project timelines and staffing needs while coordinating with team leads to ensure each project is adequately resourced.

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver with strong multitasking abilities and a focus on process improvement. Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential, as is the ability to adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with project management tools, budgeting, and high-level administrative support is preferred. This is a unique opportunity to play a central role in supporting executive operations and leading projects that drive the company's success.

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Operations Coordinator onsite in our Los Angeles, CA office.

Salary Scale:

The Operations Coordinator is paid an annual salary between $80,000 and $95,000, subject to all required deductions and withholdings, and not including the value of benefits under any ResEcon-maintained benefit plans. The Operations Coordinator position is classified as exempt from overtime pay requirements under applicable federal and state law.

The Operations Coordinator reports directly to the Senior Wage & Hour Partner and the Chief Financial Officer in Los Angeles. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • High-level Administrative Support: Expertise in managing billing, expenses, scheduling, and other executive support tasks, particularly for a managing partner
  • Project Management: Ability to track timelines, monitor progress, and allocate resources across multiple projects
  • Staffing Coordination: Skilled in assessing staffing needs and coordinating team resources across multiple offices nationwide
  • Organization & Multitasking: Strong organizational abilities and capacity to handle multiple responsibilities and shifting priorities effectively
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Experience handling sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality
  • Process Improvement: Keen eye for identifying and implementing efficiencies in both administrative and project workflows
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving issues and adapting to evolving project needs
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce, and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, project management platforms)
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned and as needed


Job Qualifications:

Skills and Abilities



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with Teams, Zoom, and multi-line phone systems
  • Professional demeanor and good communication skills
  • Ability to oversee and complete multiple projects in a timely manner
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a good record of attendance
  • Capacity to lift 15 - 20 pounds
  • Discretion and good judgement (particularly with sensitive or confidential information)


Education and Work Experience



  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or other related field
  • 5+ years of experience as an Operations or Executive Assistant or Project Manager in a professional setting
  • Experience in a litigation or consulting environment a plus
  • Experience with Salesforce, Tableau and project management solutions is strongly preferred
