What you'll do:

AmeriHome Mortgage is looking for a Client Support Specialist to join our Client Support team. This role will be expected to be client facing and customer service oriented with an ability to be a quick learner on our systems and a strong communicator. This is a great opportunity for a driven individual who wants to grow their customer service and support experience, while expanding their overall exposure to Correspondent Sales, and the mortgage industry in general. The right candidate will have the necessary experience and dedication to be detailed in their work, able to meet deadlines, implement process improvements, and capable of working successfully with our clients. We're looking for a strong team player who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get the job done.

What we are looking for:

  • Serve as a front-line contact addressing client's inquiries and resolving issues, mostly through email and some phone calls.
  • Train clients on how to use our systems, deliver loans, and understand workflow processes.
  • Upload files and deliver on behalf of clients, using SFTP folders and systems.
  • Be an expert on our client facing systems and be able to effectively train and communicate with our clients about questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Operations Account Representatives, Marketing, Lock Desk and more.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships to ensure ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM systems.
  • Experience in Encompass systems.
  • Mortgage industry knowledge, loan servicing experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong service skills to identify solutions to client needs.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to create a PowerPoint deck.
  • Experience working with multiple software applications in a customer service environment.
  • Ability to meet SLAs established by the company and management.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel and Power Point specifically)
  • Strong Problem solver that shows critical thinking with a creative mindset.
  • Ability to solve complex issues independently, timely and under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt to situations quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player
Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $24.15 - $27.73 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
