Title: Attorney Duration: 6 months Contract Pay rate: $35.43/hr on w2 Location: New York, NY 10004 Shift timings: Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5 PM BG/DT required: Yes Job Description: perform complex legal analyses. review and edit contracts. assist the General Counsel in evaluation of policy issues and formulation of legal opinions. assist with records requests under FOIL. provide guidance regarding implementation of court orders including Domestic Relations Orders. review and analyze documents such as beneficiary designations, Powers of Attorney, wills, and affidavits, assist the General Counsel relative to disability applications and investment matters. conduct legal research any other projects as assigned by the General Counsel Requirement: Member in good standing of the NY State bar At least 5 years of responsible, satisfactory legal experience Microsoft Office suite skills especially Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams
