As an International Banking Director, you will be responsible for overall strategic development, organization, and coordination of the enterprise of International Banking and all aspects of product offering. Responsible for attraction, expansion and retention of the bank's International Banking client relationships and the overall team performance in terms of revenue growth, profitability, cost management strategy and staff retention.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
- Manage and expand revenue from international and trade services, implementing strategies for growth. Develop a comprehensive business plan that includes detailed expense and revenue projections. Work with the executive team to align international services with overall business goals and objectives.
- Maintain a strong client orientation, demonstrating expertise in international and trade operations and global business practices. Provide training and resources regarding international payment regulations and practices to internal teams and clients. Work closely with all business line partners, product management and Marketing teams to create strategies for increasing sales and revenue.
- Provide direction and support to all direct reports and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with business line partners, clients, correspondent banks, vendors, and third-party providers.
- Prepare and present detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders. Review and update applicable policies and procedures as needed.
- Stay informed about international market trends and regulatory changes that may impact services.
- Ensure all international service activities comply with relevant regulations.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or other related field (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
- 12 or more years of progressively responsible work experience in an International Banking sales environment.
- 6 or more years of experience leading a project, process or team
Travel
- 50%

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- In-depth understanding of international banking products and markets, including trade finance, banknotes and foreign exchange.
- Extensive experience in business development, negotiation, and regulatory compliance, particularly in cross-border payments. Proven track record in FX, with significant experience building and growing FX businesses.
- Strong knowledge of currency trading, FX risk management, and hedging strategies.
- Possess concise and effective communication (verbal, presentation, written) skills, interviewing techniques for extracting/validating factual information. Must be able to effectively interact with clients, management, industry peer and business groups.
- Ability to answer complex operational and technical questions, develop alternative options/solutions, and resolve discrepancies through the application of established analytical methodology or procedures. Possess advanced knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to bank products. Familiarity with regulatory compliance in FX operations and AML requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $170,265 - $200,311
- Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles
