We are currently seeking an Assembler I to join our team.

Your role and responsibilities

Job Summary -Assembles routine electrical and mechanical equipment using common hand and power tools. Builds equipment from assembly procedures, blueprints, engineering sketches, and verbal instructions. Works under direct supervision.
Performs routine and repetitive assembly tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Builds equipment from assembly procedures, blueprints, engineering sketches, and verbal instructions.
Recognizes defective or damaged parts and incorrect sizes.
Complies with acceptable quality standards using appropriate hand and power tools.
Adheres to company health and safety standards.
Performs other duties as required or assigned (under direct supervision if necessary).

What is required for this role

High school diploma (or GED).
Good communication skills.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to read blueprints.
Ability to lift various items from floor to bench height in the course of assembly activities (50 pounds).
Ability to differentiate colors (i.e., working components).

Pay range is $19.00 - $20.00/hr. depending on experience. This is a 40-HR/week temporary position at this time.

This position requires the use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)
