Responsibilities

The Procurement System Administrator is responsible for the functional systems administration for Deltek Costpoint Procurement Module, serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for the support of the Deltek environment; provides technical systems administration, which includes security, trouble-shooting issues, and interacting with internal users and Deltek Support to apply software fixes to software defects; support the upgrades and patches to Deltek Costpoint Procurement Module; and assists with configuring new functionality, testing, and the rollout to production.

In addition, the Procurement System Administrator assists Buyers with questions regarding reviewing vouchers and identifying discrepancies (PO, period of performance, receipt of goods); trains users on the navigation and the general features of Deltek Costpoint, including the development of instructional material; collaborates and consults with end-users and colleagues to support these systems; serves as a liaison and provide hands on technical assistance requests coming from users (requisitions, project managers and buyers); trains new users (requisitioners, project managers), supports system upgrades and procurement system integration efforts due to mergers and acquisitions and develops procurement reports and metrics required to monitor and ensure the health of the procurement organization and systems.


Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of professional full-time experience with Bachelor's degree; or 8-10 years of professional full-time experience with Master's degree.
  • Experience and knowledge of Costpoint Procurement Module and Subcontract Module and system administration of both modules
  • Experience with cognos and development of reports
  • Experience with the procurement process and procurement requirements for federal contracting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to conduct training and deliver effective guidance.
  • Must be proficient in basic office software applications (such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint)

Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
