Job Summary

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead Java Software Engineer with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.

You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Responsibilities

* Working in a hands-on role and currently playing a senior / lead developer role.

* An expert in JAVA and spring boot tech stack developing components and creating/consuming REST APIs.

* Project experience on cloud (AWS) experience, Openshift experience is required.

* Web application development (Angular).

* BFS payment knowledge / Digital payment.

* Have thorough knowledge on Unit testing using JUnits.

* Swagger UI in REST Services testing implementation.

* Pipeline setup in GitLab using tools like GIT, SONAR, black duck etc.

* Demonstrate strong technical leadership skills and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

* JAVA FSE with above 8+ years.

* Hands on experience in JAVA latest versions, Spring boot, Microservices, SQL.

* Good knowledge in Kubernetes, Docker, AWS is required.

* Minimum 1+ years of experience in OpenShift is desired BFS payment experience - Zelle/RTP associates are preferred.
