Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our Crowe Consulting Data and Analytics team as a Business Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning client business strategies with the Crowe data and analytics solutions. In addition to managing the delivery of our current offerings, this position will also focus on understanding our client's strategic value drivers, and identifying metrics and analytics that provide valuable business insights to help them achieve their objectives. This role will help lead client data management (people, process, and technology), engage directly with client functional business and technical leadership, help lead and execute complex data projects, communicate across multiple stakeholder groups, and help lead change within a client organization. Other responsibilities include helping to deliver client value across our core offerings:
Data Strategy Roadmaps We uncover key business objectives, understand what drives the business forward. We analyze the current state of data and outline a strategy of many data-related initiatives to drive results. We assess the risk and potential business benefit of each project and create a phased approach for implementation on these critical initiatives. Data initiatives may include assessment of data quality, developing master data management and governance strategies, cloud migration, EDW or Data Lake build, dashboard development, training and development, hiring, and engaging third parties for data-related services. EDW/Data Lake & Analytics Build-out We work in client environments ranging in maturity levels to determine if the appropriate action is to build onto existing infrastructure as is, recommend a retrofit of existing infrastructure to bring it to a suitable state to support a scalable EDW or build an EDW from the ground up. We gain connectivity to all key data sources and review databases for structure and integrity. We identify relationships, the presence and quality of critical business data and map business-critical fields to a data warehouse. We work with key business leaders and decision-makers to understand key business drivers and recommend the development of metrics and key performance to be visualized in a dashboard to bring business insights to leaders that allow them to make data-driven decisions. Data Quality and Master Data Management Services We work with clients who want a baseline level of understanding of current state of their data. Key Areas of analysis Include: current state and maturity level of data, data governance, existing data roadmaps, IT organizational structure, business applications/data sources, data security, IT infrastructure, and capacity to meet future business needs for data. Crowe Clearview Analytics Support Services We work with clients who lack the in-house skillsets to build and support effective analytics practice themselves. Crowe Data and Analytics team members will use a three-tiered framework to drive clients forward to a position that they can take advantage of advanced predictive analytics and better leverage artificial intelligence solutions. This work is delivered within a service support model where all necessary skills and resources are provided under a monthly support contract with the client. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
