The Role and Team A phenomenal opportunity exists within Medallia's Legal Team as we are looking for an experienced Privacy and AI Counsel with a love for data, technology, and cybersecurity to lead our global privacy efforts and work closely with Medallia's product, engineering, and security teams. This role will continue to build out our privacy and related compliance efforts and work cross-functionally with our different teams across the globe and focus on Medallia's privacy by design principles. Medallia's legal team works to be a competitive advantage for the company, delivering smart, creative legal solutions that power growth. Our efforts have made us one of the most respected and well-liked teams at Medallia. We are team players, solution oriented, effective and help the company navigate the most complex legal challenges. Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $137,500 - $248,000. This position is bonus eligible. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
