Summary

Operates production equipment and makes necessary adjustments to produce a Quality Product in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct rigorous Quality Control Testing to ensure the precision and excellence of each product.
  • Expertly operate extruders and annealers, skillfully crafting PET sheets that are meticulously slit into flawless coils.
  • Orchestrate the setup and seamless operation of PET lines, manufacturing a diverse range of products according to scheduled orders.
  • Assume full responsibility for upholding material specifications, maintaining the operational integrity of material systems.
  • Precision-calibrate mixing bins to exacting standards, ensuring optimal performance for daily production runs.
  • Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistent equipment functionality.
  • Proficiently manage the process of regrind by expertly chopping and repurposing materials.
  • Develop comprehensive familiarity with a diverse array of machinery, including dies, screen changers, mills, and bridles, as well as gaining expertise in crane operation.
  • Make precise and timely adjustments to equipment, guaranteeing optimal production outcomes.
  • Skillfully employ fork trucks to safely load raw materials, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Effectively utilize hand tools to facilitate seamless changeovers, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
  • Adapt and excel in a dynamic environment, taking on additional roles and duties as needed to contribute to the Company's overarching objectives and achievements.
