Job Description:

This position would be housed inside Ryan Technology and report to the Manger of Technology Infrastructure. Ryan Technology is rapidly growing cross functional team comprised of team members of various skill sets and backgrounds ranging from operations, construction project delivery, building engineering and design, network security, software engineering, database administration, technology delivery management, among many others. This group oversees all aspects of Ryan Company's rapidly evolving technology environment and oversees everything from network and data security to artificial intelligence and jobsite robotics.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Immerse yourself in construction projects to learn and discover technology pain points, build trust, and nurture productive relationships with business partners.

  • Collaborate across functional teams to deliver a wide variety of technology and shared business service projects.

  • Proactively monitor, troubleshoot and maintain technology operations and broader infrastructure performance to anticipate issues or conditions that may impact key stakeholders.

  • Specific focus with infrastructure and security operations, ensuring Ryan Technology is meeting contractual requirements.

  • Cross-functional collaboration with Infrastructure and Operations team to solve existing and emerging requirements as defined by contracts.

  • Oversee the development, installation, configuration, and administration of HCI such as compute, storage, backups.

  • Break down complex tasks into actionable work items, with accurately estimated required time and effort, appropriate sequencing plus alignment of co-dependent activities.

  • Troubleshoot and support a variety of end user facing technical infrastructure components and business applications.

  • Objectively assess and effectively communicate project status to stakeholders and project teams.

  • Monitor adherence of technical specifications in alignment with key customer requirements.

  • Travel to visit jobsites or Ryan offices as required.

To be successful in this role:

  • It is preferred you have Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent related work experience) with 5+ years of overall business experience in the technology or construction industries.

  • Exceptional experiences delivering technology projects will also be highly valued.

You will really stand out if you can successfully perform the following:

  • Deliver projects without personal bias, and in careful consideration of many different perspectives.

  • Familiarity of the Hyperscale Mission Critical market.

  • Familiarity with operating systems and hypervisors, such as Windows, Linux, and VMware.

  • Investigate pain points, build trust, and nurture productive relationships with business partners.

  • Effectively manage time to deliver projects successfully, even in the face of obstacles or unforeseen conditions.

  • Understand the process of construction and management of projects and their impact on the built environment.

  • Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and seek out new opportunities for creativity and innovation.

Eligibility:

  • Positions require verification of employment eligibility to work in the U.S.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation:

The annual base pay is $79,400-$99,250/annually. The base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission and/or an incentive program.
