THE JOB:

As an Assistant Manager at Spago by Wolfgang Puck you have the opportunity to lead a best-in-class team at one of the most iconic restaurants on the Las Vegas Strip. As an assistant manager you will drive guest and employee satisfaction by ensuring the team is prepared and assisted with guest service through every shift. This role requires a dedicated individual who can effectively manage a team, ensure high standards of service, and contribute to the exceptional dining experience Spago has been known for over the last 20+ years.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations

• Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation

• Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records

• Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues

• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests and employees

• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or support departments

• Maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations

• Bring enthusiasm, innovation, and drive to the outstanding Wolfgang Puck Brand

• Spago Las Vegas by Wolfgang Puck

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

• 21+ Years of Age or Older

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent educational experience

• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• 2+ years' experience working in upscale casual or fine dining restaurant

• 1+ years' experience in hospitality or customer service

• Experience managing employees using a Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities to manage up to 450 covers
