Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Developer with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS Cloud React JS SQL JPA Camunda BPM Spring Boot Java JSON Spring Batch Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API and J2EE. Experience in the Cards & Payments domain is mandatory. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS Cloud React JS SQL JPA Camunda BPM Spring Boot Java JSON Spring Batch Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API and J2EE.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure software quality.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
  • Work closely with the Cards & Payments domain experts to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the team is using the best practices.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
  • Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of AWS Cloud React JS SQL JPA Camunda 8.X Spring Boot Java JSON Spring Batch Spring MVC Spring Core Rest API and J2EE.
  • Have experience in the Cards & Payments domain.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Show ability to work in a hybrid work model with minimal supervision.
  • Have a proactive attitude towards learning and implementing new technologies.
  • Display a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 to $116,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
