We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Data Modeler Architect with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Erwin, Data Modelling, and Data Modeler. The Sr. Architect will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions that drive our companies success.

  • Lead the design and implementation of data solutions using Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
  • Coordinate the development and maintenance of data models using Erwin.
  • Guide in data modelling to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of data structures.
  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to assemble and analyze business requirements.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines to support data integration and transformation processes.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across various data sources and systems.
  • Implement standard methodologies for data governance and data management.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data solutions to improve system performance.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members in data modelling and data architecture standard methodologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data architecture and data modelling.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
  • Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, data flows, and data architecture.
  • Collaborate with collaborators to define and implement data security and privacy measures.
  • Qualifications - Possess Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Have a demonstrated ability in data architecture and data modelling.
  • Demonstrate expertise in Azure Databricks and Azure Data Factory.
  • Show proficiency in using Erwin for data modelling.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have superb communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Be diligent with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 12/31/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $120,000-$130,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
