Full Stack Developer Java/AWS

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified developer with experience in AWS, SQL, Node. JS, Angular. JS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL, developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient software applications using AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
• Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company's competitive edge.
• Supply to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in the Cards & Payments domain.

• Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Have 6+ years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS, SQL, Node.js, AngularJS, Java, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Show experience in the Cards & Payments domain understanding industry standards and regulations.
• Exhibit excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Have a proactive attitude towards learning and adopting new technologies.
• Show proficiency in software development methodologies and established processes.

The annual salary for this position is between $90K - $114,500K depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
