Job Summary
Provide professional level support and project management services for divisional initiatives and projects. Lead the development, implementation, and execution of moderately difficult initiatives usually with a completion timeline of a year or less. Acts as an advisor to program teams regarding projects, plans, and operations. Perform specialized administrative support for projects and for the unit. This position will interact on a regular basis with: unit management and staff, department staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: unit and department staff.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 - Lead and support a broad range of moderately difficult multi-functional projects and programs, including developing tools, resources, timelines, and other requirements, to ensure successful completion; conduct assessments, gather and interpret data, produce reports and provide solutions to successfully manage projects
Job Duty 9 - Gather and coordinate dissemination of information regarding new or revised policies and procedures within unit, respond to inquiries regarding Institute and departmental policies and procedures; make referrals as appropriate
Job Duty 10 - Perform other duties as assigned
Job Duty 2 - Initiate and conduct assessments, collect data and benchmark studies to identify needs, gaps, improvements, and provide recommendations to management on issues and matters of significance related to projects, programs and future initiatives
Job Duty 3 - Establish schedules, oversee arrangements and provide logistics support for projects
Job Duty 4 - Participate in the development and execution of program events; Coordinate and arrange meeting and project materials for distribution
Job Duty 5 - Prepare correspondence and reports which may include origination of first drafts and conducting related analyses and research on behalf of the unit executive or other unit staff; design, develop and edit project presentations, agendas, and other documentation
Job Duty 6 - Track and present progress reports, proposals and related project related communications
Job Duty 7 - Provide specialized administrative support for assigned projects and unit, including coordinating the executive's calendar, meetings and event arrangements
Job Duty 8 - Initiate and/or process HR related documentation including hiring packages, posting requests, schedules and reports, as required
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Experience Four to five years of job related experience
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications Experience in the following: DOD or Military security related career field (Security, Intel, Cybersecurity) Managing procurement, logistics, inventory, and equipment accountability for computer subsystems and components. In-depth Knowledge of Air Force Training mission requirements; coordinating delivery of assembled systems to Air Force Training locations and military installations both within and outside the continental United States. Coordinating training events and professional education courses Supporting contract deliverables (written reports, software deliveries, financial reports, etc.) Managing resource scheduling and availability, coordinating travel logistics, tracking deliverables and supporting Mission Operations Branch leadership team, Live Mission Operations Capability (LMOC) Air Force program, Operations of Range Training Systems (P5/ACTS) 2+ Years of Experience in JIRA and Confluence Active Security Clearance
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
SKILLS Requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, ability to learn quickly, and communication skills (oral and written). Strong project management and process improvement skills.

This is not a supervisory position. This position does have financial responsibilities. This position will not be required to drive. This role is considered a position of trust. This position does require a purchasing card (P-Card). This position will not travel This position does require the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Successful candidate must be a US Citizen Anticipated annual salary $53,687.00 to $73,016.00
