Description

The Proposal Specialist primarily focuses on proposal coordination and development, as well as requests for qualifications and interview materials. The role involves creating, developing, and delivering proposals, statements of qualifications, and interview presentations to showcase the company's skills and capabilities. Additionally, the Proposal Specialist participates in capture planning to create strategically aligned design and content for proposal development and related material. Essential Functions



  • Manages the Request for Proposal (RFP) as a project, including setting, enforcing, and maintaining timelines for successful completion of proposals
  • Drafts responses to RFPs and other client deliverables as assigned, writes content and coordinates graphics for a completed proposal that accurately reflects RFP requirement.
  • Prepares SOQs and client interview materials
  • Utilize effective written and oral communication


        Responsibilities



        • Interviews and gathers information to customize RFP responses with input from business line leaders and/or subject-matter experts
        • Provides copywriting for proposal content including scope of services, project approaches, customized project roles and bios, etc.
        • Provides quality control review, proofing and editing of all proposal and presentation material, and oversees final production and delivery of proposals


            Qualifications



            • Associates degree in a related field
            • Proficiency with computers


              Preferences



              • Adobe Creative Suite experience


              Knowledge



              • Knowledge and understanding of processes, procedures, and methods needed to perform duties which is generally acquired and developed through formal education, training, and relevant work experience.
              • Complete tasks by making decisions using steps, processes or methods from available choices.

                • Using the guidelines provided, apply judgment and interpretation skills to complete duties.

                Hours and Travel This position requires the individual work 40 hours per week with 100% of time spent in the office.
