In this role, you will play a vital part in installing commercial doors, frames, and hardware at various project sites. Your keen eye for detail and problem-solving abilities will ensure that every installation is done accurately and efficiently, helping us maintain our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Qualifications for this role typically require a one-year certificate from a college or technical school, or three to six months of related experience and training in door, frame, and hardware installation. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered. Other knowledge and experience that would be helpful include the ability to receive, understand, and execute work orders involving adjustments, replacement, installation, and removal of electrical hardware, doors (wood and metal), door frames, and related components. You may also be required to pre-install new materials on doors, ensuring proper fit and function. Prior experience using power and hand tools, including welding equipment, will enable you to perform tasks safely and efficiently. Additionally, you will represent the company professionally to meet our customer needs and foster future business relationships. Flexibility with work hours and occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be required for this position, and a willingness to accommodate varying schedules is essential.
