BGS has a need for a Hydrogen Fuel Cells Project Monitor/ Engineer to directly support the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) in project management activities including, but not limited to, Funding Opportunity Announcements, project management, and technical support for competitively selected grants and cooperative agreements. Support involves day-to-day interactions with internal parties such as legal, contracting, NEPA, and communications; as well as external parties including project recipients in academia, private industry, and National Laboratories. The position will directly support projects in EEREs Hydrogen Fuel Cell Technologies Office (HFTO) and primarily focuses on supporting demonstration and deployment projects across transportation; integrated energy systems (integrated with wind, solar, nuclear, etc.); and industrial applications (steel and ammonia production). An ideal candidate will have project management experience and experience with research, development, and deployment of innovative hydrogen and fuel cell, renewable energy, transportation, or manufacturing technologies. Starting compensation for this role typically salary ranges between $75,000 and $115,000 annually is commensurate with experience relative to the position and may vary based on candidate geographical location.
