Application Engineer (Portable Measuring Equipment) (m/w/d))

We are seeking an Applications Engineer - Portable Measuring Equipmentresponsible for providing pre- and post-sales support directly to customers. The role involves tasks such as training, service inquiries, fault finding, and programming, aiming to optimize customer utilization of our technology.

• Provide support using various Hexagon products including Laser Tracker, Absolute Arm, PC-DMIS, and more.
• Deliver on-site applications support and resolve customer complaints efficiently.
• Conduct programming tasks and ensure timely completion of customer deadlines.
• Drive Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives within the department.
• Develop training material for new products and enhancements.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards during on-site visits.

• Prior metrology experience but we are open for Mechanical Engineering graduates too.
• Engineering background with relevant qualifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to read technical drawings.
• Knowledge of core Hexagon software and familiarity with CAD.
