Koch Methanol, LLC is looking to hire an Analyzer Technician to join the St. James, Louisiana team. This role will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing analytical instruments and equipment used in our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of instrumentation and control systems, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

*This position works a 4-10 schedule Monday-Thursday with a start time of 5 AM.

What You Will Do

* Manage daily maintenance workflow activities utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
* Perform preventive maintenance, repair, or replacement of a variety of analyzers
* Inspect, test, adjust, and repair analytical equipment that runs the St. James facility
* Improve, develop, and implement maintenance process improvements and efficiencies
* Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve system performance

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

* 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Physical Requirements

* Ability to be medically approved to participate in the respiratory protection program
* Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
* Ability to grip up to 20 lbs
* Ability to carry up to 15 lbs
* Ability to pinch up to 10 lbs
* Ability to climb stairs/ladders and work at heights up to 100 ft
* Ability to wear appropriate PPE and/or fire resistant clothing while performing job duties
* Ability to work outdoors in various types of weather

What Will Put You Ahead

* Experience with mass spec, gas chromatograph, pH, CEMS analyzers or equipment used in our industry
* Associate degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or a related field
* Certification in instrumentation or related areas
