Bolton & Menk has an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our expanding Land Development team in Denver. In this unique role, you will be responsible for collaboration of project design on a wide variety of local and regional, large- and small-scale projects such as: sports & athletics, parks & recreation, schools & universities, site specific urban infill, commercial & mixed-use developments; working with our Site Design and Landscape Architecture team in Denver, CO. This role will also be responsible for the overall planning, development, and completion of the project in a profitable manner and responsible for client contact and business development activities in designated areas.

What You Will Be Doing:



  • Responsible for the management planning, scheduling and performance of multiple projects and personnel.
  • Serves as primary client contact and is responsible for problem resolutions related to projects.
  • Identifies the project scope and participates in the contract negotiation.
  • Develops and monitors project budgets and implements corrective action if appropriate.
  • Supervises and reviews schematic design phase, construction documentation and administration.
  • Analyzes environmental reports on land conditions, such as drainage and energy use.
  • Performs business development activities (i.e. RFP's, presentations, preparation of proposals).
  • Responsible for developing and implementing appropriate marketing plans.
  • Approves and presents preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
  • Maintains liaison relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Travels to work sites and other project related locations as necessary.


What We Are Looking For:



  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited college program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Thorough knowledge and skills in CAD and Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and related software such as SketchUp.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with active listening.
  • Possesses excellent time management skills.
  • Possess a valid driver's license as travel to various job sites may be required.
  • Project management experience preferred.


Salary Range: $125,000 - $160,000 depending on years of experience and credentials.

Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. Bolton & Menk reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
