The Opportunity: Avantor is looking for a proactive and handy Maintenance Technician to optimize our NuSil team and deliver results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.This role will be a full-time position based out of our Bakersfield, CA, facility. You will have the opportunity to install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment / fixtures. This includes updating maintenance records, troubleshooting problems, and escalating non-routine or complicated issues. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am PST. If you have experience in supporting large manufacturing facilities and are passionate about solving complex challenges and driving innovation - let's talk! What we're looking for Education: High school education or GED equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of maintenance, mechanical or electrical experience in an industrial or educational setting. Preferred Qualifications
