Certified Medical Assistant 100% On-Site - Chevy Chase, MD Pay: $20-24/hr based on experience Highlights: * Contract to Potential Hire * Full-time * Benefits: Healthcare, Dental, Vision, 401K, Weekly Pay Job Description: * The Medical Assistant will work within a Primary Care Clinic with one of DC's largest healthcare systems. * Assist with the back office in the department - handling prior authorizations, preparing charts, updating prescription refills, and using the EMR. * Will also be responsible for rooming and triaging patients, in addition to taking patients' vital signs. * The MA will be getting patients through the first 30% of their visit. * This is a high volume, fast paced clinic. The MA will see anywhere from 20-30 patients per day. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Candidates must have an MA diploma or updated Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) * BLS Certification * The ideal candidate has 2+ years of medical experience, preferably in Primary Care * Experience with 30+ patients per day. * High School Diploma or Equivalent About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
