Positions in this role are responsible for all aspects of training for network operations, including assessing training and organizational development needs, developing training programs, department reference material and guides, and conduct new hire and focused training sessions.

If you are located in San Antonio, TX, you will have the flexibility to work from home and the office in this hybrid role* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Maintain and apply knowledge on claims, customer service, provider demographic, contract/benefit configuration processes and related quality review processes
  • Conduct appropriate preparation to ensure full understanding of training content and objectives prior to delivery
  • Collaborate with appropriate resources, business partners, to facilitate development of training materials and objectives
  • Collaborate with department leads on developing, documenting and storing reference material such as guides, job aids, and SOP's
  • Identify, understand and prepare the appropriate training technology to ensure effective learning (i.e. Webex, Sharepoint, external references)
  • Set appropriate expectations for all applicable stakeholders (e.g., business leaders, learners, Training) to ensure ongoing support and achievement of learning objectives.
  • Comply with all required policies, regulations and procedures applicable to the IKA and Intellisoft processes
  • Demonstrate appropriate teaching method, style and pace to optimize learning, adopting different delivery approaches/mechanisms as needed
  • Provide post-training support to learners, as needed (e.g., outstanding questions/issues, parking lot items, unmet expectations, additional copies of learning materials, on-the job support)
  • Provide feedback to appropriate stakeholders on ways to improve learning outcomes, based on established data/metrics and experience with learners (e.g., instructional designers, other trainers, business leadership)
  • Maintain poise and professionalism at all times during the facilitation process and ownership/control of the learning environment at all times.
  • Communicate action plans, including obstacles, barriers or needs to drive successful results

Required Qualifications:



  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience working with contract configuration and interpretation
  • Working knowledge of Medicare Part A & B and Managed Care or related field
  • Knowledge of industry standard ICD-10, CPT, HCPC, and revenue coding


Physical and Mental Requirements:



  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access
  • Knowledge of IKA and Intellisoft systems
