The team

The Content Strategy Manager is a key player in our content strategy, responsible for creating, curating, and managing content that supports our thought leadership, brand initiatives, and global campaigns. This role is central to ensuring that content aligns with our key themes, topics, and buyer's journey, while also working closely with various stakeholders across the organization to ensure transparency and alignment.
You'll plan, write, and collaborate with 3rd party firms to build awareness-level content that resonates with our target audiences. This role requires managing the global content calendar, understanding the importance of packaging content for different channels in collaboration with the Design Studio or agencies, and optimizing content based on performance data. Your ability to bring together stakeholders, guide best practices, and ensure content is strategically aligned will be crucial to the success of our content initiatives.

The role

* Content Creation & Curation:
o Develop, curate, and write content aligned with key themes and topics to support thought leadership, brand initiatives, and global campaigns.
o Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party firms to build awareness-level content that supports the buyer's journey and business objectives.
* Content Planning & Calendar Management:
o Manage the global content calendar, ensuring alignment with campaigns, buyer's journey stages, and transparency across teams.
o Coordinate content development, delivery, and scheduling with stakeholders to ensure deadlines are met.
* Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Work closely with stakeholders across departments (PMM, Demand Gen, Global Campaigns) to align content with the buyer's journey and campaign use cases.
o Ensure that content maps to the appropriate channels and use cases, pulling through themes and topics effectively.
* Content Packaging & Distribution:
o Collaborate with the Design Studio or approved agencies to package content for various channels, ensuring it is visually engaging and on-brand.
o Handoff completed content to Content Operations and Enablement teams for final distribution and tracking.
* Content Performance Optimization:
o Understanding audience consumption patterns to optimize content, making data-driven decisions in partnership with Content Operations to improve engagement and reach.
o Provide guidance to other teams (e.g., PMM) on best practices for content development and optimization.

What you'll bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in content creation, management, or strategy, with a focus on awareness and thought leadership content.
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience working across departments and managing content workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage a content calendar and ensure timely content production.
  • Experience working with design teams and agencies to package content for distribution.
  • B2B content marketing experience, with a focus on related IT industries (Storage, Cloud).
  • Exceptional writing and storytelling skills with a keen understanding of content strategy and execution.
  • Required U.S. Citizen and/or Green Card holder
As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is:

Tier One Location (including New York City and California Bay Area): $86,000-$125,000
Tier Two Location (including Colorado, Seattle, and the rest of California): $75,000 - $117,000
Tier Three Location (including the rest of Washington State): $60,000 - $85,000

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara's bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program's conditions and restrictions.
