Summary:

We seek an experienced and dynamic Sales Training Manager to lead our training team and develop our sales training programs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and managing comprehensive training initiatives to enhance the skills and performance of our sales team. This role involves leading our training team to design customized training modules and workshops to help our salesforce be their best.

The Sales Training Manager will collaborate closely with sales leadership to identify training needs, measure effectiveness, and continuously refine training strategies. Strong communication skills, a deep understanding of sales processes, and a passion for coaching and development are essential. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales training, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to motivate, inspire, and grow a team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales training programs tailored to various sales roles
  • Conduct needs assessments and surveys of our salesforce to identify skill gaps and training opportunities
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through performance metrics and feedback.
  • Lead the training team to hit training goals
  • Conduct one-on-ones with team members and provide coaching and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align training with business goals
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop training surrounding products, policies, etc.
  • Work closely with our Sales Experience teams to ensure training content is correctly positioned to succeed
  • Ideate using technology, video, and other models to create a more robust training experience for our sales reps

Required Skills:

  • Experience using project management software (Asana, Airtable, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to lead and guide a team
  • The ability to problem-solve in an ever-changing landscape
  • The ability to learn and understand multiple systems and how they interact with each other
  • Excellent in the Microsoft suite of tools

Required Education/Experience:

  • 5+ years of sales/ sales leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree recommended
  • Proven ability to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with performance metrics.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
