Cognizant Technology Solutions is looking for a BillingCenter Support Engineer to join the team of IT professionals in a role. If you meet our background requirements and skills and are in search of an opportunity with these skills and expertise, here is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in business and functional requirement meetings in crafting and formulating technical specifications on features to be implemented in Guidewire.
  • Analyze the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using Out-of-the-Box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solutions
  • Prototype and Implement system improvements and new Guidewire product features to resolve sophisticated business and technical challenges.
  • Provide estimates for development efforts for both Configuration and Integration use cases.
  • Design, Develop and Unit Test Guidewire Configurations and customizations as per requirements using GOSU - Guidewire scripting language.
  • Implement Guidewire Integration plugins for facilitating data exchange with vendor partners and internal systems.
  • Perform incident management and problem management activities, by working with offshore teams resolving technical incidents and problems crafted by business users.
  • Use Service Now to supervise incidents based on priorities, work on incidents along with the team members and ensure they are resolved within the agreed SLA.
  • Work on Service requests to provide reports and data views to the users.
  • Work with the team members with root cause analysis, discuss solutions and implement fixes to problems.
  • Build and implement database queries for production problems.
  • Perform defect triage and defect fixes during System Testing, End to End Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Ensure non-functional, security, regulatory and compliance requirements are met for all development and improvement activities.
  • Participate in daily standup meetings, project reviews, and retrospectives. Highlight project health status, risks and challenges.
  • Good experience in Agile
  • Prepare application KT document for common Production issues and document findings.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for the position is between $60,325 - $109,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
