Job Tittle: Field IT Technician (ONSITE 5 days a week)

Work Location: Wyoming, IL

Job Summary

You will be responsible for coordinating and handling IT Service Management Service Now Windows Networking and Desktop Support functions. This role requires a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of important experience.

Responsibilities

  • On-site IT support
  • Imaging and deployment of new laptops and mobile devices (BYOD).
  • User onboarding/offboarding: setting up workplaces, handling laptops and devices, collecting assets.
  • Update IT Assets inventory (when assets deployed to users or returned to stock or disposed)
  • Coordinate with the Regional IT Manager the annual disposal of EOL IT assets.
  • Provide Level 2 computer/application support.
  • Solve hardware/software issues, engage vendor support for repairs.
  • Resolve IT support incidents in ServiceNow, maintaining SLAs, and document support activities in ServiceNow.
  • Update and patch client PC environments.
  • Update and Patch local server infrastructure
  • Installing and updating approved software
  • Support network-connected infrastructure like AV systems, meeting rooms, access control, and video surveillance.
  • Provide 'hands and feet' support to the Corporate IT infrastructure and Operations teams, for site IT infrastructure (server, storage, network, wifi,..)
  • Support local, regional, and global IT projects.
  • Support continuous improvement programs/initiatives.
  • Support Corporate Cybersecurity and Compliance initiatives
  • Follow FMC IT policies and standards and ensure site compliance with internal controls.
  • Support internal audit preparations and execution.
  • IT procurement and vendor management.
  • Support Regional IT Manager with Site budget planning

Qualifications

  • Possess a proven understanding of IT Service Management principles and practices.
  • Have hands-on experience with Service Now for at least 2 years.
  • Show skill in leading Windows operating systems.
  • Show expertise in networking concepts and solve.
  • Have experience in providing desktop support to remote users.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess good communication and social skills.
  • Be able to work independently and run multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Be willing to travel occasionally as required by the role.
  • Hold relevant certifications in IT Service Management or related fields.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused attitude and dedication to delivering high-quality IT services.

Certifications Required

ITIL Foundation Certification Service Now Certified System Administrator CompTIA Network+

Salary and Other Compensation

Applications will be accepted until November/28/2024.

The annual salary for this position is between $37,804 to $74,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
