Role Summary

The Marketing Specialist will support marketing, client solutions and other departments by developing project pursuits, presentations, internal and external communications strategies and other materials as directed. This position will coordinate and implement marketing activities for events, programs, and brand management. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core

MARKETING FAMILY - CORE



  • Develops Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ) responses, which could include writing, producing resumes and project profiles, setting up meetings, developing graphics, proofreading, making edits and printing/packaging to ensure submission by deadline.
  • Develops presentation materials (e.g., PowerPoint or Adobe presentations, brochures, leave-behinds) for project pursuits and other purposes.
  • Develops other unique marketing deliverables as requested, ensuring corporate identity is maintained.
  • Updates marketing information within the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other marketing data systems.
  • Coordinates, and/or attends events such as trade shows, conferences, client events and in-house planned activities.
  • Develops award submissions.
  • Captures and edits video assets.
  • Develops internal communications (e.g., project and people announcements).
  • Develops external communications (e.g., social media and website content).
  • Contributes digital assets to the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the highest standards of internal client satisfaction by displaying courtesy and sensitivity and promptly responding to internal client needs.
  • Manages difficult or emotional internal client situations promptly and efficiently.

  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign or other Adobe Creative Cloud Software

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism or related field (Preferred)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Experience

  • 2+ years marketing, communications or public relations experience (Preferred)
  • Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Proposal Experience (Required)

Working Environment
  • Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Typically travel is not required
  • Normal office environment
  • Frequent activity: Sitting, Viewing Computer Screen
  • Occasional activity: Standing, Walking, Reaching above Shoulder
