Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of professional experience associated with systems engineering
  • Experience with RF communication systems, waveforms, and network technologies
  • Knowledge of modern waveform design
  • Knowledge of Digital Engineering tools and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, OneNote, SharePoint, and Teams
  • Self-Driven and able to work with limited direct supervision
  • The employee is expected to be based in San Antonio, TX; however, some telework is possible


Desired Skills

  • Master's degree in engineering and 8+ years of professional experience
  • Experience or familiarity with DoD acquisition processes
  • Experience with DoD ISR wideband RF communications systems, waveforms, and networks
  • Experience managing complex RDT&E projects
  • Experience working in Joint or multi-service groups
  • Experience with DoD Digital Engineering methods and tools


Description

  • Work directly with the customer and stakeholders to derive and document detailed technical requirements from operational requirements, inform customer and stakeholders of any changes.
  • Develop, champion, and manage RDT&E proposals and resultant projects to advance state of the art ISR communications waveform and RF networking techniques and technologies
  • Develop detailed specification requirements for new capabilities
  • Attend and participate in program management and technical meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Clearance Information

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS, A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL



Travel Requirements

  • Travel approximately 20% (mostly CONUS, potential for some overseas)
