About the Role

MWH is currently seeking a Scheduling Manager to join our team in Phoenix, AZ.

The Scheduling Manager will be responsible for corporately monitoring and reporting on project schedule status, health, impacts and delays to the executive team. Additionally, coordinating scheduling resources efficiently, and ensuring the smooth operation of the project scheduling processes across the company.

Essential Functions



  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team and scheduling team members.
  • Ensure compliance with project and corporate scheduling policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules for large water/wastewater projects.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules to align with project requirements and deadlines.
  • Allocate resources effectively to optimize project productivity.
  • Communicate schedule changes and updates to all project stakeholders.
  • Analyze scheduling data to identify areas for process improvement.
  • Develop and analyze delays and time impact analyses for contract time extension.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, construction management, or related field; or equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in planning, scheduling, and/or project engineering, superintendence on water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plans, or industrial process facilities.
  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in planning, scheduling, and/or cost engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience with project planning and Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Proficiency with CMiC construction software
  • Working knowledge of other scheduling software (MS Project, Asta, NetPoint, etc.)
  • Primavera database administration experience


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Certifications such as: Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP), Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or Project Management Professional (PMI-PMP)
