BIM/ VDC Coordinator

As a BIM/ VDC Coordinator joining our team, your responsibilities and duties are listed below. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Responsibilities:

• Report directly to BIM/ VDC Manager
• Participate in project coordination meetings with MEP Superintendents and Trade Drafters
• Run clash detection and direct trades in corrections
• Perform Site Walkthroughs if necessary
• Create CAD/REVIT models and documentation, as needed for projects
• Generate Composite Documentation for areas of work
• Submit corresponding Coordination Sign-Off Forms for record.
• Stay abreast of industry advancement in BIM/VDC, including, but not limited to, software applications.
• Assist in development of internal training modules and presentations, when required.

Qualifications

• Possesses the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Advanced Knowledge of Navisworks, AutoCAD and Revit
• Advanced Skills in MS office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• 5+ Years of Experience at MEP Firm, Subcontractor/ GC or Architecture Firm
• Basic Knowledge of Construction Phasing and Logistics, preferred
• Detail oriented and organized
• Ability to efficiently multi-task and problem solve
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor's in Engineering, Architecture or degree from a technical college, preferred

Salary Range

Desired salary range $70,000- $95,000
