Summary:

In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Spend Executives and other subject matter experts to enhance contract penetration and implement value-driven strategies. You will be responsible for identifying potential savings within the supply chains while promoting the utilization of supply chain contracts and programs. You will play a crucial role in recommending relevant products and solutions that align with the unique needs of these providers. Your primary focus areas will encompass medical/surgical, pharmacy, lab, IT, purchased services, facilities, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities by submitting contract documents, providing detailed analytics, and collaborating with teams to track and achieve member savings.

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new provider resources and ensure effective utilization of Vizient tools and solutions through education and ongoing support.

  • Partner with Spend Executives and Analysts to develop and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews, including strategy, presentation, and follow-up.

  • Manager membership rostering, implement new provider locations, and maintain accurate updates in CRM systems for assigned providers.

  • Enhance Vizient's position as a trusted advisor by informing providers of industry trends and aligning products and capabilities with their needs.

  • Drive GPO contract coverage growth, analyze member spend data, and convert new contract opportunities to optimize sourcing strategies.

  • Document and track supply chain contract saving opportunities, facilitate project plans, and provide detailed quarterly reporting of tier optimization results.

  • Oversee tier activation processes, including Contract Price Activation. LOC/LOP execution, and document submission, ensuring alignment with member needs.

  • Manage expiring contract reporting and coordinate contract extensions or terminations in collaboration with providers and sourcing managers.

  • Act as a liaison between Vizient, suppliers, providers, and internal teams to present vetted savings opportunities, ensure accurate data submission, and support strategic programs like NovaPlus and IMPACT conversations.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred.

  • 2 or more years of relevant experience within category management, sourcing, or supply chain in healthcare required..

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to manage multiple deadlines, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Experience working with complex healthcare/hospital clients

  • Detail-oriented with excellent presentation and communication skills required.

  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas) and PowerPoint skills.

  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $77,400.00 to $127,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
