Warehouse Manager

The purpose of this job is to lead the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. The manager works closely with their Associates and other local leaders in the market, to achieve the goals of the business. This includes School Services, Retail, Repair/Refurbishment, Affiliates, and Merchandising.

Essential Functions (not all-inclusive):



  • Manage the daily activities of the warehouse.
  • Oversee shipping and receiving functions as applicable.
  • Monitor in-stock position and react to inventory needs to ensure delivery standards are met. Develop and maintain inventory/securitycontrols to prevent shrinkage/loss.
  • Manage and coordinate local shuttle delivery schedules within applicable service area.
  • Completing preventative maintenance on warehouse vehicles.
  • Performing cycle counts and inventories as needed.
  • Follow-up on productivity and accuracy standards to ensure acceptable quality control standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area as well as maintaining the warehouse in a safe, secure and organized manner.
  • Double check paperwork for accuracy.
  • Staff, train, evaluate, and develop team members
  • Conduct any disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Ensure that associates are trained on safe work practices and that those safe work practices are followed to support a safe work environment
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Skills, Experience and Education:

Minimum Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred, preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics (4 years of experience substitutable)
  • 2 years of experience leading teams
  • 2 years of experience in distribution, transportation, fleet management, or business related field
