Role: Java Production support with Angular experience

Java MSB / Vue or Angular JS + SRE

Application Production Support with 3+ years - Preferably in e-commerce domain

Experience handling P1/P2 incidents

Job Summary:

We are seeking a resource for "Java Production support" with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Angular, Springboot, Microservices and Java. Experience in retail and E-commerce is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to our projects and drive impactful results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using Angular ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Design and implement robust backend services with Springboot Microservices to support various business functions.
• Write clean efficient and maintainable code in Java adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure reliability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards in all developed applications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting purposes.
• Weekend support/on call

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of experience.
• Must have Application Production Support with 3+ years - Preferably in ecommerce domain.
• Experience handling P1/P2 incidents.
• Possess a solid background in Angular with hands-on experience in developing dynamic web applications.
• Demonstrate expertise in Springboot Microservices with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable backend services.
• Exhibit proficiency in Java programming with a deep understanding of object-oriented principles and design patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection regulations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or a related field is preferred.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $65,447 to $134,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
