Overview of the Position:

Learn and understand the proper operation of the High Velocity Oxygen Fueled spray booth and robot arm. Be responsible for that machine, report any problems to Management. Use and be able to read micrometers, and bore gauges. Spray parts to the specifications called for on "Travelers." Be familiar with the company computer system, knowing how to "clock" parts to locations and document the required paperwork.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Be familiar with the operating procedures for the High Velocity Oxygen Fueled spray booth and robot arm
  • Learn the proper operation of vacuuming system
  • Understand and take the safety precautions needed to work with the HVOF booth and robot arm
  • Understand the materials that are used for HVOF spraying
  • Use and be able to read micrometers, and bore gauges, etc.
  • Spray parts to the specifications called for on "Travelers".
  • Try to solve problems through communication then go to Team leader or Production Manager



Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:



  • Must speak, read and write the English language.
  • Should have basic computer software skills.
  • Prior work experience in plating helpful but not require
  • Should be able to read blueprints

Education / Experience Requirements:



  • Must have H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Must have 3 months to 2 years ACI experience or related outside experience.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
