Overview of the Position:

The Quality Department and its personnel are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of rules, policies and regulations within the organization in order to work in accordance with manufacturer and customer requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Assists in the management of the Quality Management System to assure each department has documented there procedures and the procedures are implemented and effective. Utilize and implement standard work in each department.
  • Conduct internal audits for company quality requirements.
  • Support in handling of all associated quality procedures and work instructions, as well as control of nonconforming product, product disposition.
  • Attends meetings to determine internal status and assists in directing priorities and suggests solutions to problems. Utilize and implement problem solving methodology in each department.
  • Reviews new or unique contractual terms and conditions, customer procedures, and procurement regulations that have an impact on the company's business processes and functions.
  • Assure detailed review of all quality documents and required process specifications in contract work.
  • Resolves problems with vendors concerning quality control requirements.
  • Manages Supplier Quality, vendor performance metrics, site audits and approvals.

Education / Experience Requirements:



  • Must have H.S. Diploma or GED

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Is occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Move inventory in various configurations using PPE and proper techniques.
  • Is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
  • Is frequently required to talk or listen.
  • Works in moderate noise levels.
  • No vision requirements.
