Position Title: Packager
Wage: $20.00 per hour Shift: 2nd Hours: 1:00pm-10:00pm QPS Employment Group has a great Packager position available at a company in Monroe, WI. This is a 2nd shift position with the opportunity for hire. Packager Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Preparing supplies and labels. - Packaging bulk yogurt (barrels and totes). - Manual cleaning of equipment, floors and work areas, utilizing strong chemicals. - Fill cartons of cheese with packaged products. - Sanitation duties: assemble/disassemble equipment, bending to clean undersides of equipment. - Ferment tank operation, CIP (clean in process), pasteurization, working with milk separation. - Assist in packaging smaller items of all sizes-retail cups to 45lb pails. Packager Requirements: - Minimum 40 work hours expected per week during company operating hours, weekend work will be required. - Must have food manufacturing experience. - The employee is expected to adhere to all company policies. - Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. - The physical plant environment is clean but sometimes cool/warm, wet, and moderately noisy. - Must maintain a high degree of personal hygiene. - Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job as described in this document. - Must be able to read, understand and carry out written procedures. - Must be honest and dependable. - Candidate must be a team worker. - HS diploma or equivalent is desired but not required. - Food plant experience helpful. - Ability to learn many jobs and to be flexible with duties and schedules. monroe@qpsemployment.com IND038 About us: QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
