Our company is currently seeking a Vice President of Quality, Continuous Improvement & EHS to effectively manage the development and implementation of a quality system for SG360 by ensuring information and manufacturing processes, products and services meet the company, customer and end-user standards. Develop and Implement a Continuous Improvement Methodology driving improvement across all facets of the organization. And, responsible for developing and maintaining safety policies and procedures in conformance with best practices and OSHA regulations. Essential Functions:
- Carry out procedures to ensure that quality systems and services meet the company and end-user standards based on customer specifications. Part of these functions include auditing products and processes, ensuring proper manufacturing techniques have been applied and that the product and service conform to requirements.
- Responsible for documenting and retaining all problems associated with defective products and working through issues with management to resolve them.
- Responsible for performing all managerial task and functions associated with maintaining a quality system. This includes the management and supervision of the Quality department, schedules, long range planning, evaluation and maintenance of employee training and documentation; including performance reviews, appraisals and promotions within the department.
- Develop, lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase the efficiencies of the operation.
- Works as a liaison with internal and external management, as necessary, to ensure and implement quality awareness both in theory and method.
- Focuses on quality by analyzing manufacturing process and working with Production staff, management, Quality Inspectors/Technicians and the customer to establish and maintain uniform and compliant printed material and conformance with the standard operating procedures.
- Conducts CAP reviews and follows up with documentation to ensure adequate root cause solutions. Facilitate reviews with SME's as needed
- Ensures that the organizational policies and procedures are in place and implemented on a daily basis.
- Develop and implement safety policies for SG360.
- Communicate safety-related issues to executives.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local safety regulations.
- Ensure that hazardous waste is removed in compliance with all applicable laws.
- Keep abreast of changes in safety technology or regulation and inform management.
- Ensure that skill level remains current through training or other educational means.

Requirements Qualifications Education/Experience Required:
- Engineering Degree. Six Sigma Black Belt. Further education with Lean Manufacturing processes. An understanding of Safety and Environmental Programs
- A minimum of five (5) years of Quality & Continuous Improvement experience. Exposed to an environment with a Lean Manufacturing Methodology (TPM & 5S, Problem solving Techniques, Kaizen facilitation, Lean Six Sigma)
- Knowledge and experience with software; including databases, MS Excel and MS Word.
- Safety training as required by OSHA regulations.
- Above average knowledge of OSHA regulations and local safety ordinances.
- Knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.

- Must possess strong oral communication skills strong interpersonal skills and professionalism to interact with customers, management and production staff.
- Exercise good judgment and be able to apply standards regularly and coherently.
- Ability to take initiative, maintain confidentiality, meet stressful deadlines and promote a team environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds on occasion.
- Must be able to pass color differentiation test.
- Must be physically capable of working long hours and available for problem resolution twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, as needed.
