PAS Central Scheduler - 40 Hours Day Shift

Scheduler is responsible for
updating demographic information.
Generate a patient itinerary containing warning and preparation
instruction after each procedure is booked.
Scheduler will ensure it will be mailed in a timely fashion. Assist patients ranging in age from adult to
geriatrics who may call to verify the time/date or other information about
their procedures.

Required: Includes solving, operating, reasoning,
interpreting, remembering, understanding, directing, controlling, computing,
and counting. Good Counseling and communication skills. Strong interpersonal
skills, courtesy and tact with patient, family members, physicians and staff
members. Analytical ability for numbers and situations. Keyboard, Computer,Customer
Service Skills,and office machine experience

Preferred; Two year experience in a physician's office setting with
scheduling responsibilities or in a health care environment with admitting
background preferred Typing proficiency
of 40 words per minute preferred.

Preferred; High school diploma preferred which generally
provides the ability to read and write in order to schedule patients and read
warning and preparation experience.
