Location: Phoenix, AZ (Remote work allowed)

Roles and Responsibilities

* Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects, ensuring alignment to high standards.

* Supervise the development and execution of test plans and test cases using Cucumber and TestNG.

* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

* Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure magnificent integration and delivery.

* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to streamline the testing process.

* Apply Scrum methodologies to handle and supervise project progress, ensuring timely delivery of quality products.

* Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Rest API to improve testing efficiency.

* Lead and supervise defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and communication with partners.

* Use Maven for project build and dependency management, ensuring consistency across environments.

* Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.

* Participate in requirement analysis and provide recommendations on testability and quality aspects.

* Follow industry regulations and established quality assurance guidelines.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve testing processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

* 5-8 years of Automation testing experience

* Expertise in developing automated test scripts using Selenium and Java with integration to GitHub and have knowledge/experience on other automation tools

* Proven experience in writing, executing, and supervising automated test suites using Selenium

* Automated regression testing/ reporting experience - Selenium automation

* Experience testing GUI applications, web services and/or web applications (Backend and frontend)

* Experience in relational databases (Primarily SQL and MYSQL)

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 12/14/2024

The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to 92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
