The Lead Supervisor Commissioning plays a crucial role in the commissioning, startup, and operational readiness of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. This position requires a highly skilled individual with experience in system verification, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and site safety requirements. You will lead commissioning activities, including reviewing construction and vendor drawings, verifying installations, and ensuring that systems are operationally safe and compliant before project completion.

Construction & Vendor Drawings Review: Responsible for review and verification of construction and vendor drawings to validate accuracy and confirm that systems are installed according to design intent and specifications. Installation Verification & Documentation: Responsible for ensuring high quality and accuracy in the verification and documentation of installations, ensuring that systems and components meet design and operational requirements. Punch List Closeout: Responsible for verifying the closeout of punch list items, ensuring compliance with design requirements and client specifications. Redline Accuracy: Responsible for ensuring that redlines are accurate and reflect the final installed conditions, as provided during commissioning. Start-up Sequences & Safety: Understand and follow start-up sequences, ensuring safety checklists are completed prior to system start-up including below.
- Owns the day-to-day commissioning activities and Permit
coordination. - Responsible for LOTO for the systems
- Leads the review of the start-up authorization requirements
and continuously coordinating with Construction system owner with respect to system readiness for pre-start walk down and commissioning commencement. - Review and approval of SWMS/RA/JHA for commissioning.
Contractor Testing & Reporting: Responsible the review of contractor testing procedures, reports, and activities for all project disciplines to ensure adherence to all code, regulatory, and testing requirements Startup Checks: Prepare and execute startup checks, ensuring all startup documentation is fully executed and signed off as required. Pre-commissioning & Commissioning Coordination: Responsible for coordinating pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities, ensuring the timely progression of project milestones toward completion. Troubleshooting & OAT: Responsible for troubleshooting system controls during Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT), ensuring systems are functioning as designed. Workaround Recommendations: Recommend acceptable workarounds when systems are not 100% complete but must be started in early run scenarios to maintain project timelines. Compliance & Progress Reporting: Ensure that compliance reports and progress reports are generated according to project requirements and assist in monitoring and updating project schedules. - Responsible for effective implementation of LOTO program

contributing to the overall success of the project team and project delivery

Minimum Required - Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in key trades: mechanical,
process mechanical, instrumentation and controls, or electrical required. - Knowledge and experience with LOTO procedures to ensure
system safety during commissioning activities required. Preferred - Technical diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Mechanical,
or Instrumentation Engineering or related field. - Licensed Journeyman is preferred.
- Certification in commissioning (e.g., BCxP, CxA) or
construction safety (e.g., OSHA) is a plus. - Experience in commissioning related to semiconductor or
biopharmaceutical facilities is highly preferred. - Understanding of Engineering documents and drawings.
- Understanding of Commissioning workflow and Commissioning
documentation including FAT, SAT and Commissioning Test reports - Drives execution and performance
- OSHA Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA guidelines and
safe construction practices, ensuring safety during commissioning activities. - Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office
(Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and commissioning software such as EXTO, EIDA, Latista, or similar. - System Knowledge: Competent knowledge of processes to
energize systems and validate that all controls and instrumentation function as designed. - Technical Expertise: Familiarity with P&IDs (Piping and
Instrumentation Diagrams) and one-line diagrams. Understanding of project specifications, building codes, and how systems interrelate. - Leadership Skills: Ability to coach and lead others,
fostering team development and ensuring timely completion of project tasks. - Teamwork & Time Management: Ability to work proactively as
part of a team and manage tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. - Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve
complex system issues in a timely and efficient manner. - Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability
to follow detailed procedures while maintaining a focus on quality and safety. - Ability to work in industrial and construction
environments. - May involve working in confined spaces, at heights, or in
adverse weather conditions. - Occasional extended hours or weekend work may be required
based on project timelines
