Position Overview: We're looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Corporate Sales to lead and expand our corporate sales division. Reporting directly to the President of GBES, this role is perfect for a seasoned sales leader with strong corporate sales expertise, relationship management skills, and a passion for sustainability. You'll be at the forefront of our growth efforts, building revenue streams, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring our offerings align with the latest industry needs. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets. Conduct market research to identify opportunities in green building education and establish GBES as the preferred provider in the industry. Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain relationships with corporate clients, educational institutions, and industry leaders. Work closely with clients to tailor GBES solutions to meet their unique needs, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Reporting & Performance Analysis: Regularly report on sales activities and performance metrics, providing actionable insights to senior management. Use data and feedback to refine sales strategies and strengthen GBES's offerings to meet market demands. Team Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to develop integrated promotional strategies that amplify sales efforts. Collaborate with Product teams to ensure that new and existing offerings align with current market demands. Sales Operations: Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation through deal closing. Track and analyze sales metrics, making data-driven decisions to enhance performance and achieve continuous improvement. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field. LEED Green Associate certification required within six months of hire. Experience: 5-8 years in corporate or B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, EdTech, or the green building industry. Demonstrated success in developing and managing client relationships, with a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets. Skills: Strategic thinker with strong market analysis abilities to capitalize on growth opportunities. Exceptional client engagement, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficient in managing sales metrics, forecasting revenue, and achieving financial goals. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative, remote team environment. Additional Skills: Familiarity with Green Building standards (e.g., LEED, WELL, BREEAM). Project management experience and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS). Additional Information
